Westfield, NJ – Following tonight’s debate hosted by New Jersey Globe, the Kean for Congress team is declaring a resounding victory:
“What was clear to the people of New Jersey tonight is Tom Malinowski is not a leader and will always put himself first,” said Campaign Manager Theresa Winegar. “He has put the jobs of tens of thousands of New Jersey families at risk and in the process even supported a measure that would cripple the life sciences industry and hobble our ability to find a vaccine for COVID.”
Winegar continued, “Tom Kean Jr. has a bipartisan record of making healthcare more affordable, reducing taxes and protecting the environment. New Jersey deserves a leader like Tom Kean Jr.”
Tom Kean is the New Jersey Senate Republican Leader. His campaign for Congress in NJ-7 has been rated a “toss up” by Politico. He has been endorsed by the NJPBA, BIPAC, House Republican Leader Kevin McCarthy, and hundreds of local New Jersey elected and party officials.
Two weeks ago, The National Republican Congressional Committee placed a $1.7 million television ad buy on behalf of Kean. In April, CLF released a survey that showed Kean leading the incumbent Malinowski and then reserved $1.5 million in advertising in support of Kean and another subsequent $500,000.
